Each month a pattern is issued via our newsletter, The Patchword. Patterns are also usually available the month prior at the meeting, and are available for download from this page. You may (or may not, as you wish) make up a block from the pattern and either bring it to the next meeting or mail it to the BOM chair. At the meeting a name is drawn from all those submitting blocks and that person (or multiple people, if there are quite a few blocks) wins the blocks.
You will need Acrobat Reader to read these blocks.

Block of the Month Success
We had 29 blocks turned in for Block of the Month at the September meeting. Mary and I were thrilled and hope we have lots of blocks every month!! All of the blocks will all be either 8" or 9" (finished) STARS! We will have a packet available foryou to buy if you choose. You could make blocks ahead of the meetings when you might have more time. The blocks in the packets are the blocks that will be printed monthly in the Patchword -- the packets are just to give you a head start. Remember, each block you enter gives you a chance to win -- the more you make, the better your chances. Good luck to you all and if you can't get to a meeting put your blocks in the mail to Barbara Lamb -- I'll be sure they get entered.
Thank you all!!
Mary and Barbara
