Linda Baker and Sandy Keating At least two of our members have pictures of their quilts, and portions of their related essays, printed in the new book America From the Heart: Quilters Remember September 11, 2001 (curated by Karey Bresenhan, C&T Publishing, 2002, ISBN 1-57120--145-9) Linad Baker's quilt is on page 77, and Sandy Keating's quilt is on Page 38. There are about 200 quilts in the book, and a few others are also from our general area. If anybody knows of any other NWQ members who have been included in the book, please let us know so that their accomplishment can be posted here. Many of the quilts in the book were in this year's "Embellishments" show, and were all very beautiful and thought provoking. ....From the Patchword August 2002
