The 2015 Raffle Quilt measures 92" x 92". Nikki Schoeffel and Kathleen Swick are the quilt designers. Each of the large roses has 450 pieces and each of the border roses has 44 pieces. The quilt was machine quilted by Robin Hill. The drawing will be at the Northwest Quilters' 2015 Quilt Show on May 2, 2015 at 4 pm.

Small Quilt Raffle 2015

The 2015 NWQ Quilt Show will feature a Small Quilts Raffle. We need donations of small-sized, well-made quilts in any color and any style. They don't have to be true miniatures -- though, of course, those are definitely welcomed -- but they should be well-proportioned for their size. About 24" is the largest size, and much smaller is perfectly fine. We would like small quilts of all styles and colors to appeal to all the different people who come to the quilt show.

This might be a good time to try out a new technique, a new-to-you color scheme or fabric (wool? silk?), or an intriguing design on a small scale. Finish it completely (please DO put a label on it) and donate it so attendees at our show can buy chances to win it. The money we raise will help offset the costs of the Quilt Show. Questions? Call Maureen Orr Eldred. moequilts2@comcast.net

Men, women and children designed 523 blocks at the 2014 Quilt Show. Guild members sew the blocks, which are then used in twin quilts for children, such as the ones shown below. Since 2000, over 350 Build-a-Block twin quilts have been made and donated. These are truly a community effort, as 35-45 people have a hand in making each of these unique quilts.
