Christmas Season, 1993
The Christmas Season 1993 show, "An Oregon Heritage Holiday", was held at the Pittock Mansion in Portland, Oregon.
"As the enchanted holiday visitor strolls through Pittock Mansion, each fanciful room will evoke the heritage and character of Oregon. Set amid vibrant poinsettias and miles of garlanding, lovingly handcrafted quilts illustrate a homestead Christmas, a letter to Santa, a wedding day, grandmother's garden, and children's old-fashioned toys. Oregon's important industries, magnificent forests and wildlife are celebrated -- even the oft-maligned slug! Truly, the fabric of Oregon at its holiday best!"
"The Oregon Quilt", which was finished in 1974, was the featured quilt at the top of the Grand Staircase.
